| Panorama Trail Regulators, June 2006
We had 20 shootists turn out for the June match, if yer lookin to see if you should be cryin in your beer or braggin about winning, you can check the results on this web page. I want to again thank everyone who helps set up, tear down and work at the match. It takes a lot of time and effort to put on these events, without you it would not happen. Big Johnny Bronson won the workers drawing for May The GCL BOD has given the OK for us to shoot long range rifle. We can shoot 200 yards at a steel buffalo or 75 – 100 yards at paper targets. You can bet your bottom dollar we will have a long range rifle shoot after the main match in July. I will send out details after talking to our rifle match director, Heavy Bear. I would like to start shooting four scenarios. We have a small pit we could use for pistol only or pistol and derringer/pocket gun stages, or just reset one of the other ranges. Also want to know if everyone would like to take a 45 minute lunch break around noon, and then finish the match afterwards. Send me an e-mail and let me know what you think. Next match is July 8th, bring a derringer if you have one, will be optional to use on one of the stages. Bring your favorite big bore, or lever action, rifle cartridge gun to shoot buffalo with. We are holding a short seminar after the match in July and August for anyone interested in finding out more about are events at GCL. If you would like to help, give me a call or send an e-mail.
Happy Trails, Twelve Bore
FYI: Lunch and soft drinks/coffee are available in the clubhouse. Guns cannot be worn or carried in such a manner as to be visibly displayed in the parking lot or clubhouse (GCL club rule).
