FBI COMBAT COURSE

This month’s training drill is from the FBI.  I like this one because it teaches movement while covering your target and reloading from cover.  It only requires 12 rounds but you do need a range where you can shoot while moving.  If you don’t have a 20-yard range you can shorten the distance.

Remember – SAFETY FIRST and take your finger off of the trigger while moving.

Description

The shooters start at the 20-yard line sitting in a vehicle (simulate a car with a chair if necessary). Six targets are hung. On command, the shooters exit their vehicles, draw their firearms, and engage the first target with 2 shots. The shooters then move to the 10-yard line, covering the remaining targets until they reach cover. Next, the shooters engage the next two targets with 3 shots each. The shooters then move to another form of cover, also at the 10-yard line. The shooters engage the final 3 targets with 1 shot each. Shooters reload as needed and always from behind cover.
